School Ordered To Remove Cross From Mascot Logo
The South Caldwell High School Spartans, in Lenoir, NC, are under attack by atheists for a modified “T” in their logo that resembles a Christian cross.  The FFRF (Freedom From Religion Foundation) is a Wisconsin-based atheist group that gets easily triggered by the name of Jesus Christ. Or in this case, the Alphabet.  Read the article.

Oklahoma School Orders Student To Remove American Flag
A student at Edmond North High School was ordered to remove an American flag from his pickup truck because it violated school policy.  Senior Caleb Horst told television station KOCO, “I’ve been flying it for quite a while.  I’ve never really had problems with it before, and it’s our First Amendment, so it’s kind of hard for them to infringe upon our rights.”  A number of students at the school said they plan to protest by flying Old Glory on their cars and trucks.  Read the article.

When former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, he included a unique appeal to young voters – that the GOP is now the party of free-thinkers and counterculture warriors.  “Our message to Gen Z is this:  You’re going to be the generation that actually saves this country.”  Read more here.

Supreme Court rules in favor of injunctions blocking Biden’s pro-transgender Title IX Rewrite
The Supreme Court on Friday ruled unanimously in support of two federal court injunctions in 10 Republican-led states barring implementation of the Biden administration’s new pro-transgender Title IX rewrite while the issue is hashed out in court.  “For female students everywhere from preschool to graduate school – today is a day for celebration,” attorney Sarah Parshall Perry stated.  Read more here.

What today’s young people need to thrive – tough standards with encouragement: psychology professor
A scholar says he has uncovered the trick to bringing out the best in Gen Z and Gen Alpha — compliment them. But not in the traditional sense — it’s more about believing in them, and letting them know it.  Read more here.
