YAF Brings Hundreds of Energetic Students to First Presidential Debate

High School Tells Teenager To Remove His U.S. Flags From Truck.  He Chooses Homeschooling Instead. 
“Officials at Staunton River High School in Bedford County, Virginia, warned Christopher Hartless to take his flags down; he claimed they told him the flags were a “distraction.” When he refused, they reportedly took away his parking pass if he continued to fly them. Rather than ride the bus to school, Hartless simply decided to try homeschooling.” Read more here.
 
Schools That Teach The Classics Instead Of Marxism See Exponential Growth
“Classical education aims to introduce children to their cultural heritage through seeing and imitating the greatest works in their civilization’s history, from the arts to the sciences. Supreme Court Asked to Review Top Virginia High School’s Race-Based Admissions Policy
“A group of parents and students is asking the Supreme Court to review the admissions policy of a top-rated high school in Virginia that they say engages in illegal racial discrimination against Asian American students.”  Read the article.
 
33% of Generation Z believes using the wrong gender pronoun should be illegal. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer supports similar legislation that comes with potential jail sentences.
“Generation Z’s fetish with restricting or criminalizing speech was also revealed in a 2019 Knight Foundation survey, which found that 41% of students surveyed believe hurtful or offensive speech, often referred to as “hate speech,” should not be protected speech under the First Amendment, with a wide majority of students in another poll calling on the government to punish such speech.”  Enlighten yourself on what free speech really means here.
 
Tennessee student suspended for memes has penalty lifted, has policy changed after lawsuit 
“The First Amendment protects the right of America’s students to express themselves on social media and even criticize or satirize school officials,” Conor Fitzpatrick, [the student’s attorney,] said. “As long as the student’s expression does not substantially disrupt the school day, school administrators have no business acting as a board of censors over students’ private speech.”  A must-read article.
